Well nothing new, we have finished the season here in SLO, we only have 1 or 2 races in Croatia. There were few broken bones also in this season, luckily not mine
Anyway, I will be in Koln at the Intermot on Friday and perhaps Saturday.
Few of mine friends and I are interested more in endurance races, do you have any idea about such races in Germany or Austria?

A friend of mine is also visiting the Intermot in Cologne (Köln) this week. Maybe you meet him. His name is Stefan. He ist the founder and owner of the famous German online video magazine "Quadjournal".

Maybe you really meet him at the Intermot cause he always carries a video camera with him. There is a blue sticker on the camera with the word "Quadjournal".
In Germany I think the GCC (German Cross Country) series became the most famous XC racing series. Most of the German Pros rode GCC series this season. There was one similar XC race in Austria this year at the well known "Erzberg". It was NOT the "Erzberg Rodeo". The Austrians organized a second XC race at the "Erzberg" in conjunction with the ACC (Austrian Cross Country) series. The problem in Austria is, that they don´t like Quads very much. Only for the ACC race at the "Erzberg" Quads were allowed to start. It was a test how the Quads would perform and how much Quadriders would attend this ACC race. But as far as I know the Austrian ACC Organizers were not pleased by the numbers of Quadriders who came. They expected more to come. So it is not sure if there will be a own Quad class next year at the ACC.
But as I said the GCC racing series in Germany became very popular and there will definetely be an even bigger GCC racing series in 2009. There will be two classes in 2009: Beginners and Pros. At some GCC races there were nearly 70 Quadriders. This was too much. So they will make two classes next year. You should not miss at least one of the GCC races next year.

An other XC racing series in Germany that constantly grew bigger and bigger and also became popular is the BQC (Bavarian Quad Challenge). There are not so many German Pros but the number of amateur riders who attended the BQC increased from one race to the other.

Thanx, I see that most of season ends by the end of this month. Are there any races in "warm" Italy during the winter?
