Hi Bostjan,
there is a difference between the BQC and the GCC. I don´t know the organizers of the GCC in person. They are no buddies of mine like the BQC organizers. The BQC is somewhat more familiar. But I will try to contact the GCC orginizers to talk to them about important things like the payment and so on.
But one thing is similar at the GCC compared to the BQC: your starting position depends on how early you make your registration for the single races. In the meanwhile there are 15 racers registered for the first race at Sonneberg in the "XC Quad Sport Class". So expect that you will start from one of the last places.
Moreover you should not wait to long to registrate for a race. The GCC organizers will close the registration for a single race if they think that the reached number of racers are enough for the track. They did this a few times last year. It would be a mess if you come from Slovenia and will registrate on the race day and they tell you that all starting positions are filled up and you can´t start.
And you have to decide in what class you will start. The GCC hast 2 Quad classes. One class for the pros (its called "XC Quad Pro") and one class for beginners and advanced riders (it´s called "XC Quad Sport"). In the pro class you will have to ride against the German top cross country racers. They are much faster than the top BQC riders.
I will post more information ...

The registration fee is 35 € for each rider. Only single riders are allowed. You can´t ride in a team as you did at the BQC.
You have to registrate at least 14 days before the race. If you registrate within the 14 days before the race you have to pay 40 € instead 35 €.
But always remember: sometimes they close registration earlier if there are to much riders.
Tech rules:
- you have to pass a tech inspection
- the sound limit is 96db
- they will check this limit probably at the tech inspection
- if the organizers think that one quad is to loud during the race, they have the right to stop this rider and make a further sound check
- nerfbars and a killswitch are mandatory
- you are not allowed to refuel without a pad that prevents fuel from draining into the ground, the pad must have a adequate size (width and length of your quad)
- you have to shut off your engine if you refuel
- you are not allowed to refuel outside the pit
- its your problem if you run out of gas somewhere on the track and can´t reach the pit
Starting procedure:
- you have to line up at least 15 minutes before the start
During the race:
- you are not allowed to overtake other riders within the lap-counting-area (sorry don´t know the right word in English but I think you´ll understand what I mean)

Good news concerning the registration fee!!!
One of the main organizers (his name is Jens Zimmermann) sent me an email, that it is all right, if you just registrate online in advance and than you can pay the registration fee on the race day! So, there is no need to transfer the registration fee by bank from Slovenia to Germany!
BUT YOU HAVE TO DO JUST ONE LITTLE THING: when you have registered for a race please immediately send an email to Jens Zimmermann containing the following facts:
1. Your names
2. Tell him that you are from Slovenia and that you will pay on the race day
3. the class you have registered for
4. name/place of the race (e.g. Sonneberg)
The email address of Jens Zimmermann is: jens.zimmermann@baboons.de
Than you will get back an email where Jens Zimmermann confirms that you are allowed to pay on the race day.
Please print out this email on paper and take this paper with you to the race!
That´s all!
